Simon King

Vice President - Sales, EMEA Region

Simon King is iNet’s Vice President – Sales, EMEA Region. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, King will lead business development, sales and marketing for iNet’s new region spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”).  He will have dual reporting to:  Øyvind Folge, vice president and general manager – EMEA Region, who is based in Stavanger, Norway; and to Hector Maytorena, senior vice president – Customer Success, at the Company’s headquarters in Houston, Texas. He will be working closely with senior leadership to develop business plans for expansion of the business into new geographies and market segments across EMEA.

King brings to iNet over twenty years of business development and sales experience in the telecommunications industry.  Most recently, he served as Sales and Business Development director – MEA at Viasat Energy Services (formerly RigNet).  Prior to that, he held roles of increasing responsibility in sales and account management at BT Group.  King holds a degree in Sales, Account and Relationship Management from Sunderland University.
