Infrastructure Networks, Inc. (“iNet”), a leading remote communications and IoT solutions provider to critical infrastructure industries, announced today that Simon King has been hired into the new role of vice president – Sales, EMEA Region.
Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, King will lead business development, sales and marketing for iNet’s new region spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”). He will have dual reporting to: Øyvind Folge, vice president and general manager – EMEA Region, who is based in Stavanger, Norway; and to Hector Maytorena, senior vice president – Customer Success, at the Company’s headquarters in Houston, Texas. iNet will be offering reliable, robust and secure advanced connectivity solutions that meet the demanding needs of enterprise customers across their field operations.

King has over twenty (20) years of business development and sales experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, he served as Sales and Business Development director – MEA at Viasat Energy Services (formerly RigNet). Prior to that, he held roles of increasing responsibility in sales and account management at BT Group. King holds a degree in Sales, Account and Relationship Management from Sunderland University.
