Judith A. McHale Joins Infrastructure Networks’ Board of Managers

Houston, Texas, United States, March 12, 2012

Infrastructure Networks, a Houston, Texas-based provider of broadband wireless networks to Critical Infrastructure Industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Judith A. McHale to its Board of Managers. Ms. McHale brings a unique realm of experience to the Infrastructure Networks board, with more than 30 years of experience in private investment, global telecommunications and international diplomacy.

Currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cane Investments, LLC, a private investment company focused on providing early stage capital and strategic advice and assistance to start-up companies around the world, Ms. McHale is the former Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs in President Barack Obama’s Administration. In this position, Ms. McHale oversaw the operations of the Bureaus of Education and Cultural Affairs, International Information Programs and Public Affairs, with an annual budget in excess of $1.3 Billion. As a senior officer in the Department of State and a principal advisor to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Ms. McHale played a key role in a number of critical bi-lateral strategic dialogues, helping to lead dialogues with Russia, India, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil and South Africa. She also worked closely with the White House and the National Security Council to develop a coordinated approach to global strategic communications across multiple government departments and agencies including the Department of Defense, the Central Intelligence Agency and US/AID.

Ms. McHale is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Discovery Communications. For two decades, she was a leader in building Discovery Communications, the parent company of the Discovery Channel, into a far-reaching and renowned global media enterprise, with more than 100 television channels available to more than 1 billion subscribers in 170 countries. During her tenure as President, Discovery’s revenues increased tenfold, with annual revenues topping $3.3 billion. Prior to that, Ms. McHale served as General Counsel for MTV Networks, overseeing legal affairs for MTV, Nickelodeon and VH-1. While there, Ms. McHale became a principal architect of that company’s rapid international expansion.

“The addition of Judith McHale to our Board provides Infrastructure Networks a truly unique perspective from which to draw insight,” stated Jack Fields, Chairman of Infrastructure Networks’ Board of Managers. “Ms. McHale’s work in public policy, combined with her vast experience in global communications and her current role in the private investment arena will provide our company with a wealth of knowledge as we continue to grow and expand our areas of operation,” added Infrastructure Networks’ CEO Stan Hughey.

Founded in March of 2011, Infrastructure Networks has assembled a team of noteworthy and highly experienced members of the energy and telecommunications communities. In addition to McHale, the company’s Board of Managers already boasts several notable names in telecommunications, including Jack Fields, David L. Miller and Royce Holland.
