As the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) now has been officially classified as a global pandemic and as the risk of infection spreads around the country, Infrastructure Networks (“INET”) is proactively taking actions to minimize the spread throughout the community and to ensure our ability to support ongoing operations for our clients.
Effective Monday March 16, 2020 and until deemed safe by the government, all individual contributors, staff and support personnel will now work remotely and/or on staggered work schedules. All production, service delivery and supply chain personnel will be working rotating shifts to reduce in-office exposure while maintaining full production activities. Training, meetings and gatherings for all field operations personnel will be conducted online.
As a critical infrastructure communications services provider, we have standing business continuity and disaster preparedness plans in place to help guide us as we contend with the developing challenges surrounding this outbreak.
We are proactively taking steps to protect our employees, partners and clients by:
- Implementing social distancing policies such as exercising our extensive remote worker capabilities
- Alternating and staggering work schedules to minimize worker exposure, eliminating non-essential travel
- Redoubling our cleaning and sanitizing practices for our offices, work areas, vehicles and common spaces
INET acknowledges the request to maintain ongoing open and transparent communications with our clients, partners, consultants and employees. We will continue to evaluate our preparedness by following updates and protocols suggested by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Texas Department of State Health Services and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Thank you for your continued support. We wish you all the best in the coming months.
