Infrastructure Networks Names New CFO

John Colwell joins iNet from VanZandt Controls to serve as Chief Financial Officer

HOUSTON, TX (Oct. 15, 2019) — Infrastructure Networks, Inc. (“iNet”), the leading wireless LTEsolutions provider to the U.S. onshore energy industry, announced today that John Colwell, former CFO at VanZandt Controls, is joining iNet as CFO.  Greg Smith, who has served as iNet’s CFO for the past three years, will move into a special advisory role through the end of the year.

“We are pleased to welcome John to the management team,” said Mark Slaughter, iNet’s CEO.  “His experience and extensive knowledge will support the continued growth and strategic direction of the Company.  I also want to thank Greg for his commitment and leadership during the time he served as CFO.”

Prior to his role at VanZandt, Colwell held positions at OFS Energy Fund, LLC, Alvarez & Marsal and Ernst & Young.  Colwell brings consulting experience as well as experience in private equity, working with and within portfolio companies to achieve strategic and operating objectives.

Colwell holds bachelor and master’s degrees in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.  In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant and is a CFA Charterholder.
