Infrastructure Networks Appoints Hector Maytorena as Senior Vice President – Sales and Business Development

Remote Communications Industry Veteran to Lead Sales Offensive

HOUSTON, TX (March 24, 2020) — Infrastructure Networks, Inc. (“INET”), a leading private Iicensed LTE network solutions provider, announced that today that it has appointed Hector Maytorena to the new position of senior vice president – Sales and Business Development.  Reporting directly to Mark Slaughter, chief executive officer, Maytorena will be responsible for INET’s sales and business development activities across upstream and midstream energy, utilities, mining, agriculture and municipalities.

Most recently, Maytorena was president and managing director, North America at Tampnet AS, an offshore LTE solutions provider.  Earlier he served as group vice president – Managed Services at RigNet, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNET), a leading global remote communications provider.  Having attended executive education programs at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, Maytorena has an MBA from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.

Said Slaughter, “I am delighted that Hector is joining our senior leadership team.  He is a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering profitable growth.  He successfully led RigNet’s core business segment, Managed Services, helping that company achieve a billion dollar valuation during its heyday.  Most recently, Hector has been instrumental in establishing Tampnet in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico market and positioning it for expansion into other offshore markets in the Western Hemisphere.  And today, as we face the twin global challenges of a coronavirus pandemic and an oil market rout, we believe this is exactly the time to go on a sales offensive, to pursue the customers we want for the long-term and to help our customers achieve the digital transformation they need to be successful in this environment and beyond.  We look forward to Hector’s contributions at INET.”

“I  am excited to be joining Mark and the rest of the leadership team at INET”, added Maytorena.  “With a 4G/5G-ready LTE network, INET serves as the foundation enabler of digital solutions in remote locations, allowing companies and governmental entities to realize the full benefits of a digital transformation.  I am confident my skills and experience will help INET with its next phases of development and growth.”
