To our INET Community:
INET announced to our employees yesterday that we are extending the proactive measures we initiated in early March to encourage all nonessential employees to work from home.
As COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to spread through our communities, INET is closely monitoring health and safety guidelines from public health officials and governmental organizations regarding COVID-19. President Trump has extended federal social distancing guidelines to April 30, encouraging Americans to avoid leaving their houses and keep working from home.
INET operations and network personnel remain active in the field, following guidelines regarding social distancing and personal hygiene. We remain fully in business, providing our customers with robust and reliable remote communications solutions that play a pivotal role in lowering operating costs for our customers in this environment and over the longer-term helping our customers achieve the full benefits of a digital transformation of their remote operations.
INET will continue taking the following steps to protect our employees, partners and customers by:
- Implementing social distancing policies such as exercising our extensive remote worker capabilities
- Alternating and staggering work schedules to minimize worker exposure
- Eliminating nonessential travel
- Redoubling our cleaning and sanitizing practices for our offices, work areas, vehicles and common spaces
We will continue to evaluate our preparedness by following updates and protocols suggested by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Texas Department of State Health Services and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Thank you for your continued support.
