iNet Wins at World Energy Supply Chain Awards

iNet received the top award for Services, Solutions & Scale-Up, and was also a finalist in the Innovation category.

Infrastructure Networks (iNet), a Houston-based leader in industrial and remote connectivity solutions, has been honored at the World Energy Supply Chain Awards (WESCAs), held in conjunction with the Energy Industries Council (EIC) 30th Anniversary Regional Gala in Houston.

The WESCAs recognize outstanding leadership, innovation, and delivery across the global energy supply chain. First introduced in 2005, the awards are now hosted annually in key energy hubs including London, Rio de Janeiro, Houston, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur.

In the North and Central America region, awards are presented in four categories: Innovation; People, Culture, and Optimization; Resilience & Transformation; and Services, Solutions & Scale-Up. iNet was a finalist in two categories — Innovation, alongside finalists Bureau Veritas (US) and category winner AVEVA, and Services, Solutions & Scale-Up – where they took home top honors over additional finalists Bureau Veritas (US) and Raba Kistner. The award recognizes companies achieving scalable commercial growth and measurable customer success through innovative energy solutions.

As an EIC member company, iNet participated in the organization’s Survive & Thrive 2025 insight report – a case study program highlighting proven strategies for sustainable growth across the energy supply chain. That submission became the company’s entry for this year’s WESCAs, which drew over 140 submissions from 17 countries and were reviewed by a panel of 72 independent judges.

“The WESCAs celebrate what the supply chain delivers and how businesses continue to survive and thrive in the face of constant challenges,” said Stuart R. Broadley, HonFEI, CEO of the EIC. “Through these awards, we shine a light on great businesses, the results they achieve, and the ideas that move our industry forward.”

“Houston is a launchpad for the supply chain across the Americas,” added Amanda Duhon, Regional Director, North & Central America for the EIC. “The WESCAs recognize teams that solve real problems, innovate, and open doors to new export markets.”

Hector Maytorena, iNet’s Senior Vice President for Sales and Business Development, attended the ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the company.

“As a premier provider of advanced, managed connectivity solutions for industrial, remote, and offshore environments, our mission is to deliver resilient, intelligent, and high-performance networks where conventional infrastructure falls short,” said Maytorena. “During a challenging period for our industry, iNet pivoted — adopting technologies like Starlink™ and Juniper™ SD-WAN — evolving from a traditional bandwidth provider into a full-service managed network partner. That transformation fueled rapid growth, market expansion, and stronger customer loyalty.”

“This award is a testament to the forward-thinking vision of our leadership and operations teams,” Maytorena continued. “I was honored to accept it on behalf of everyone at iNet.”
